Night's curtains parted easily while we as two slid deftly between thin veils of light. The wind gave us wave songs as a favor to the soft step of love. You held my hands out with yours and I felt as if we were holding the ocean by its corners spreading it in front of us like a picnic blanket. I discovered that the wind startled at the caress of our hands. "You put a stain on all of my good days." |
