My Confession By Larry Chadwick If he must confess it, He would let you know. There is a certain hero, That is admired so. For some it is an icon, Oh the choices of a lad. But my choice was simple, My hero was my dad. November 29, 2002 If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

I understand this one Larry...and am reminded every December when his birthday comes around a few days before Christmas...were you here when I wrote my poems telling how I kept my tree up that following year (artificial)and I put all the Christmas cards, fathers day and birthday cards that I had bought in advance for him and hung them on the tree with the angel ornaments and bows..until the following fall. ~sighing~ it's been 5 years and it still seems like yesterday. hugsss M [This message has been edited by nakdthoughts (11-30-2002 10:34 PM).] |
