O,  but to feel the flesh of silk
upon the graze of trace.
To touch and hold,  to feel the breath
of yearn upon one’s face..
To live each moment as though tomorrow
will be my last….to love each tick of time
slowly savored as would the sip
of wine’s cup of lips most tender…

Let me...hold, touch caress the curve of you.
Place the cream upon my tongue and
harbor that sense until my tongue dries,
becomes of my deaths last sweet taste.

I ask...
Only that you live each moment
as I will my own...that we may feel
the trembles of our loins,  the quiver
of our lips,   the delicacy of fingers
lightly entwined…

For I live my last day for one night
of love and passion before the fires of lust
consume and turn me to the ruins of ash.

And, to have a wind gently scatter the
dust of me to the four ends of our earth…

Come….

...I'm coming!
Oh, dear, this is a poem I must read before I go to sleep--so that I might dare to dream of such loving...

What a delightful line! Sip slowly, take time.

nice...brought on a little sad in me in a way, (maybe that I only remember), but good. I liked it!

Now here, you have gone and touched
depths that you have not explored before...
very tender, very touching,
but so you.

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Barry, yes, it is best never to think of death until the time we accept the Reaper's word, and love like there is no tomorrow everyday, for dwelling upon death only turns us to ashes as love is but something never to be taken for granted! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is marvelous, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Magnus...Steamy write!!!! WOW!!! The passion in this poem just jumps off the page. I don't know what was in the turkey sandwich; but it must have been a little bit of Love Potion Number 99.  LOL  ***Ivy Rose

Magnus darling heart, there is in your writing a deep and abiding echo that lingers in the soul of the reader, so few writers can and do write this fewer do this as well as you do. It is a pleasure to read such well written expressive work. This is an utterly utterly utterly wonderful post. So incredibly well constructed the flow is excellent like a stream of crystal water it refreshes as it strokes the mind.

You know when I read your work I’m constantly amazed at how wonderfully expressive it is, its not that I don’t know you are a superb writer it is simply that I am astounded that each and every one of your poems is so brilliantly written. YOU know I love this darling man it is utterly utterly utterly perfect. Don’t ever stop writing such treats please.

I miss you so much, I’m so rarely here right now, you know where I am for most of my time, but when I’m sent a link I do try to get in even if I don’t always reply. Time is much too short, but if I had more time…….. aaahhh but we can’t slow time’s pace can we? If I could have I would have stretched it to last a long long time. You are a wonderful friend and I thank you for this golden piece, one of your best I think. Take care darling one I’ll be back here all too soon I fear
