Quilt Me Your Words Quilt me your words layered in thought, a senryu, haiku or a twenty or less. My tree this year of Sun, Moon and Stars will be joined by poems upon squares of express. Linked by creating a Quilt-Me-Word Tree, a holiday seasoned with you all in mind. Share me your feelings to save for all time. Come join me in quilting.... your words stitched in design. M * this is not just a poem..I am creating miniature quilt ornaments whose centers will have short poems and would like any and all who wish to fill my tree with words of expression to join in with a haiku or a phrase similar in length...and I will place your name under each. I just want to thank those of you who have lent me your words. I am beginning the quilt squares as soon as I get off here..I am very pleased with them all and yes Riley, yours was as nice as the others. hugssss M when I am finished I will take a picture of the tree and then each quilted poem separately and send you a jpg in an email. Dixie, thank you..if you can think of a haiku or a very small poem, I would add yours to my tree..I hope to be working on them this evening. Rick, thank you, I will add yours to my tree also. And maybe after Christmas I will try to duplicate them so each has one of their own. thanks again M |
