Weather, Veined (from the Soddie)

… lo the winds of time they change
to chase me back to then
a gale is blown, a dust storm’s thrown
and leaves come scatter when

…black is white, inside, out
north and south shall never meet
east shall turn upon a whim
and west finds my heartbeat…

…still the arrow points its way
the eagle is in glide
the winds may twirl vane merrily
and my future will not hide…

…for in my blood comes his story
and I listen to the wind
a gale is blown, a dust storm’s thrown
and blood carries love’s sin…

…still his story must be told,
for it lies cold here in my veins
the weather it’s a’brewing change
fountain’s pen shall flow again.
