surrounded in grey
birds fly off
at the sunsets finale,
another nighttime mystery
as they fall off the earth,
silent again until morning

nice imagery here..and a metaphor for the ones we leave when we go home from work or school... people we spend a great deal of time with ( like them or not) They too vanish in the fall of sun...

enjoyed!

BTW... geese flying in the night are not silent they can be pretty darned loud..
