The Other Sun

My eyes are shut yet see the sun.
A valley full of emerald green
A golden field of flowers spun.
A ballet full of joyous scene

And here I lay me down to sleep.
To make a hammock of a web
To dream my dreams of phantoms reap.
And wait the silver moon to ebb.

It is my choice of nightly splore.
A place I go of rainbows bend.
My thing of wile that I adore
That serves me pleasure in its wend.

There is no harm in dreams of sweet.
A piece of candy spun at night.
There is no harm in dreaming treat.
A bit of love to make it right

Each night I go to heavens door.
Someday I’ll stay forevermore.

What a wonderful place to go.

I especially like:

"make a hammock of a web"

...and you do know the right words and I, too, never fail to learn something new with every poem you write. They are treasures.

Thanking you, warm regards, Pat
