Your eyes are burned towers losing their ruin, a glow under ice of fire and snow. They open dark windows latched tight as doorways, and suffer the silence -- and say "I don't know." They press shapes of letters into my back and leave my sides heaving, and leave off attack. Bring them quite slowly rising toward heaven, bring them to my eyes. Perhaps we'll grow. A glow under ice, a snowy white fire burning the flowers of underwater. Perhaps the power. Perhaps the streetposts. Perhaps I love you at least this discreet. Bring them quite slowly up to the window. Blink through the shatter. Together, let's go. |

"A glow under ice, a snowy white fire burning the flowers of underwater." Yanno? you really have to stop this. You could end up turning into, like, a poet or something. Damn! squirrel dude. Ed |
