Urban sloth

'treble trouble
for dickydouble'
the urban language of highstreet kings.
the lords of the corner,
survey their minions
while the tinny radio sings.

they balance on the kerb
and intimidate their elders.
like junk food,
their days pass, momentary pleasure
all too easily wasted and forgotten.

)by the way 'treble trouble to the dicky double' is a line from an urban garage music group here in the uk....hope that didn't confuse too many people!

(smiles) Oh Jamie, I love this, sweet friend, I too have never heard of that garage band lyric but this is sooooooo wonderfully cohesive, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Jamie, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

thankyou everybody for your wonderful comments...from now on i'm gonna be here more frequently...and not just because your all being nice to me lol! gemjop...it is a pretty obscure reference from a local garage band called 'the max', but i included it because its sheer absurdity appealed to me...!
