Parallel Lives Two hearts began lifes' journey Different paths on different days. Never crossing come what may On parallel course ordained by destiny. it a pleasant read. i must however point out how annoying the general usage of kismet is. it is not pronounced kiss-met, but rather kissmut. it is simply a translation of fate and the usage of this word is unjustified unless you are trying to invoke eastern cultures, philosphy, or ambiance. -majnu |

Glad you enjoyed the poem, Mark...it has been in the works for a few weeks.. Thank you for noticing my 500th post, sweet Enchantress...whether it's kismet or just plain magic when two lives merge into love it's wonderful...it's truly a gift...I'm fortunate to have crossed lines with a beautiful lady who makes my heart soar.. Cpat Hair...I 'm very glad you read and commented on this poem...thank you.. Gemma, thank you...glad you enjoyed it.. Ethel, thanks...yes I like it here...and I'll hang around for a while.. Thanks for the pronouncer and define of the word "kismet", Majnu...the dictionary had that too...sorry my use of it annoyed you...but the lady who I wrote it for loved it...and I value her happiness... ...believe what your heart feels... |

Kis"mut" may be the way Kismet is said this day seems to me it may be fey to pronounce it others' way as long as heart of one should hear that which you have placed so dear upon the pages in the blue for she indeed heard the heart of you |
