Think what you want, because sometimes I can't understand myself.....Hey, I have seniority! Have I been cast away, Onto a desert Isle, My skin is burning red, Though I felt welcome for a while, And now I fall asleep, My skin is getting cold, Though I'm only thirteen and a half, My heart is growing old. Have I been frozen when, I slept so peacefully, For now I cannot move, Although my soul now wanders free I realize I’m abandoned In a land that ceases to be A place of non-existence, Where you have abandoned me Have I been left alone? Have you abandoned me? I thought that we were meant, But now I'm lost at sea, I drift away from you, And I shout out one last plea….. If you save me now, I’ll keep you for eternity Go Liz, its your birthday, not really, I'm thirteen going on 50! "Sticks and stones will break my bones, |

Hey, little Liz..... I've missed you for the last couple of days. Have you been in another forum? Anyway, I really like this poem. You do write way beyond your years. I also think it's wonderful that a 13 year old loves to read and write poetry like you do. Most teenagers your age don't like poetry. I liked it, too, when I was very young. Younger than 13 really. 13?!!!!! And you writing the way you do! My god I must say I'm in total awe. You're brilliant and we're going to keep an eye on you because there are no limits to what you can accomplish!
