Upon the cold rocky shore The sounding Of pounding Is drowning My thoughts away once more My blue eyes See gray skies That now cries Teardrops from above do pour Over sea Over me Carelessly Drenching the ice rain does bore Freezing cold Freezing soul Icy scold That talks to my spirits core And I bear The cold air Staying there Upon the cold rocky shore Gloom [This message has been edited by Professor Gloom (11-20-2002 10:19 AM).] |

I really enjoyed that, it had this gentle drifting feeling, that pulled me along with the quick, yet slow pace.Compelling. Does that make sense? It does in my head! lots of love, gemma xxxxxxx learning each day, for you and i, our paths have met, i've already learnt that you are love. |

Thank you, Cpat Hair, For taking the time to read and respond Thank you, regards2you, Dispelling shock, not actually the reason, But in a way perhaps it is. Pleased you liked my words Thank you, Seymour Tabin, Why? Probably the same reason I go hiking in the woods in December, The same reason I often sit in a dark room, I treasure thoughts and thinking and different environs Stimulate. Just the other night I sat out to watch the sky fall Only to have the warm water and cold air conspire against me Forming a haze to block my view. Thank you, gemjop, What sense any of my words make has been debated, And that you liked these humble words enough to respond Makes them worthwhile to me. As for this form, A slight modification of one of my usual styles Adding an extra short line, a further droning of the rhyme. Pleased you enjoyed it Gloom [This message has been edited by Professor Gloom (11-20-2002 10:37 AM).] |

A ponder rock yes. We should all sit one now and then just to feel the chill. |
