 Picture by Josephine Wall * * * * I'm oblivious to those around me Every time I sit and write When I immerse myself in poetry My words take wing in flight The ideas may come at anytime As the words begin to flow With my pencil in my hand I let my feelings show I've learned more about myself Since I first began to write My mind forever active Through the day and into the night I reveal so much about me There isn't much you do not know As you look inside my heart Where my words bloom and grow I shake my head in wonder As the words flow effortlessly I'm so glad I looked inside And finally found the real me I am in motion I am blue Love is an ocean I'm anchored in you - Shawn Mullins [This message has been edited by Suetang (11-19-2002 06:20 PM).] |
