Enchantress inspired this with one of her poems here in Open, but I can't recall which one at this point. I think the inspiration must have been hiding behind a rock of writers block. Enjoy..

Forget about stars spinning around
dancing to the music we make when walking beneath them.
forget about those spaces our eyes can't reach
the ones we'll never see anyway.
Stop dreaming of the sun and moon with wedded hands
strolling on the edge of dawn
saying "I will" to a future of undefeated devotion.
Stop thinking of taking sparlking stardust
and spreading it on my cheeks.
Stop wandering
and for that brief moment
when the stars, the moon, the wind, the trees
the sky
and the sweltering beams of sunlight don't have human attributes;
just tell me you love me.
Let me lean against the solidity of your body
knowing that I can cry,
be imperfect,
and wipe my tear drenched nose on your clean shirt.
Just tell me that when I loose my balance
you'll understand by the slump of my body
whether I want you to extend your hand
or wait patiently for me to regain my composure.
Do all of this
without loosing your faith in our magic
and then you will have possessed my heart.

This is terrific. The bottom line, to be loved in spite of being imperfect.
To know when to hug and when to stand side by side, loving silently.

Jennifer, this is beautiful. I'm so glad that Nancy Lee inspired such an enchanting poem from your heart. I love it.

(sigh) Oh Jennifer, this is lovely, sweet friend, I think I recall the poem you told me about when we talked about the "augury".
