VAS ~ Yes, I agree. We must never overlook the power of the mind. Unfortunately, there are those who have been verbally abused as a child and grow up believing that they are "stupid", "useless", "won't amount to anything"....and many of them are unable to rise above these low opinions of themselves. They internalized them and doubt their abilities and don't reach their full potential. EA |
