Paladin, thanks so much for telling me that. I'm going to write it down, so I can remember next time I try to write one of these. "Love makes the world go around" ~~with love and hugs from Ethel~~ [This message has been edited by garysgirl (11-21-2002 12:18 PM).] |

Noah.... Thanks, dear friend. I hope that you do get to live by the ocean one day, or at least close to the Gulf Of Mexico. The water is so nice to live by and, as you know, I love the beaches we have here in Florida. Maureen... Thank you sweet friend. I really appreciate you reading and replying to my little verse. I love to read your poetry. "Love makes the world go around" |

Lovely in its simplicity! I love Haiku. They're very difficult to write. Cor |

Corrine, thanks for reading and replying. I love these, too, but I haven't got them quite right, yet, I don't think. I know that a haiku is about nature, has 5-7-5 syllables, one line of reflection and two lines of descriptive imagery...and a few other pointers I've been told here. But, I need more practice, I think. I sure do like them, though. "Love makes the world go around" |

you put all the practice you need in this little beauty garysgirl, wether we call it haiku or senryu, it still is a good piece. Keep them coming and I'll keep enjoying. Titia Like scattered leaves...my words will flow |
