I giggle with glee at the way you look at me a curved grin full of malicious sin as the thoughts pass between the two of us as we sit on this city bus Strangers on a short ride flirting side by side yet to full of pride to be the first to speak Maybe I need to tweak my personality and give in so I can know your name for it will be a shame if we never formally meet But again I sit here tight-lipped as well as you do and stare with a smile hoping just for a while to hear your voice as you ask my name But just the same your stop arrives and we leave to our own lives |

Very beautiful poem.. Thank you for sharing. I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait. |
