Just Good Old Friends

well,
old friends that thought were lost
are true friends when one finds
that they weren’t lost
the self was lost to reminding
one’s self that true friends
still are friends
forever
needing
wanting
hurting
happy
glad
sad
always,
forever,
whenever,
new friends being old ones
olds ones there waiting
and still
just good friends

Bernie, I don't know how I missed this. I really like the way you wrote this. It's very true, too. A person can never have too many friends...both old and new. Thanks for sharing.
