after all that time, that hard and beautiful time, I was left with This:- your face, your thoughts, your essence captured against the background captured somewhere in me where they slip away like sand or quicksilver It struck me the other day how quickly Time fades sensation of butterfly wings and you were gone, just thieved away like Helen in the night So I paint these pictures in my head And on paper so I don’t forget You were, -your smile that made me shudder shiver like broken skies, Like the sky that night strechted tight violet candy stripe horizon so neon pink I nearly found myself walking in Toyko Remember Bubblegum Crisis 2040? That japanime we loved Tried to figure out the meaning of To find it meaningless When we spoke warm as butterscotch velvet pie words would pour over my tongue and onto yours and we’d throw our faces back, into round moons of childrens laughter just so innocent we were surrounded by the yellow happiness of Brisbane summers lemon tree scent freeze framed in your mums jugs of lemonade, your laugh carried along the edge of the breeze then later on that year the way we looked at each other as the night fell a soft indigo coat and with it the cold winter that had brought magic and mayhem, teenagers kissing and drinking by fires now into tomorrow I fade Get smaller You fall down into the Place I’ve labelled memories Sometimes brought back to life As images like this that Other people will never grip But l will always hold |

Welcome To Pip I'm fashionably late..but I always say it's better late then never I had to slowly read your poem..to let it all soak in I didn't want to rush afraid I'd miss something..I love your words and how you wove such a beautiful spell..capturing my breath, no seriously I'm not trying to sound like I'm trying to suck up, but I'm being so totally honest here and to think usually I'm never good at this comment thing! But you must have caught me on a good day! I so most definately look forward to more..lol what's your secret!? Teach me hehe If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried.
