Sinking in more than feelings
Knowing you won’t be mine
Maybe if I let you go now
You will come to me in time

My skin feels transparent
You can see inside my soul
My mind full of love for you
And that love left untold

Fear of rejection
Of living with pain
I can’t tell you anything
And it’s driving me insane

Day after day
The unthinkable task
Of letting you know
Of taking off this mask

Everyday I’m disguised
As a friend who is there
You have no idea
How much I really care

Hey hey! Another wonderful poem, hun! Is that about "you know who"?? I feel your pain cuz you know that is how I feel about the "Z" man..... oh well... great poem. Keep posting... Love ya!

OMG!!! This poem is exactly what is going through my mind right now. It was like you took my thoughts and put them on paper. I absolutly loved this poem. Definatly going into my library. Keep up the awesome work!

Work like you don't need the moeny, dance like no one is watching, and love like you've never been hurt.

I am all to familair with this feeling. It is an evil one to know and I'm sorry that you are being put through this emotional wringger! The words are beautifully written and wonderfully expressed. The flow was off in one spot it seemed but I just loved the poem to much to care!
