Lost and Broken

Anguish overtaking me,
Heartache consumed from within.
Pain and ignorance forsaking me,
Trying to gain substance underneath my skin.
Only escaping by drowning in silence,
And wallowing in hate.
Trying to get away but only breaking through in violence,
Cannot calm my inner thoughts that feed into my fate.
Searching to find some peace inside,
Grasping, coming up with none.
Not being so weak, 'cause I've already cried,
And dwelled in the warmth of the sun.

As I smile at everyone else, I'm dying inside... ~Me

I don't think this one is as good as "No Comfort Left" but it works.  Love reading your work, keep it up.
