Words will rip you apart, A dagger through your heart, Your soul is as black As the day in which we met, Underneath the howling moon, And you said love is forever Which today means just short of never But I don’t know what to say. It’s Okay. I never loved you in spite I always loved you despite, All the awful things you’ve done And the way you’d melt if left to burn Underneath the bright flaming sun But on a day like today, All that’s left is to push you away. |
