My So-called Friend Secret thoughts now said in the open Whispered words now loudly spoken You no longer conceal your perception All you offered was your false affection Everything is now crystal clear Take advantage of my darkest fear Immersed in your conceit Watched me in my self-defeat Constantly confronted with strife Sadistically twisting the knife Didn’t meet your expectancy You were always too good for me. |

Dark...twisted...I like. I don't have the energy to give you a decent critique, so all I can say is that I really like this, and it describes how I used to be...I'm bringing back some memories now...anyway, good write. ::Jen:: If you listen hard enough silence can mean more than words. |
