My heart is strong, but my conscience weak Yet still the secrets I will keep Once you told me I started to think, I thought so much I couldn't sleep It's wrong I know to tell someone About the day it all begun But the temptation has never been this strong to try and cover up what's really wrong When you told me I began to weap Up my bones it stared to creep The saddness shown right through my eyes Knowing now my life is filled with secrets and lies You came to me in need of help But I couldn't do it, nor could I say how I really felt What you did was wrong and you know it too Even when I tried to help, in one ear and out the other it flew Come clean, and please let your heart be true!
