I tell myself to see myself But I cannot see at all I tell myself to be myself And that’s when the damned fall I tell myself to help myself But I just run away I tell myself to show myself But it doesn’t ever change I tell myself to hear myself But I’ve grown deaf and died I tell myself to know myself And I realize I’ve never tried I tell myself to mend myself But the pain won’t go away I tell myself to hold myself But the pain will still remain But soft, what light through yonder window break. It is the east, and Juliet is the sun... |

I like the rhythm of this poem, it's so fluid. It's very good. : ) |

BeautifulMistake- rhthym was one thing I was actually working on when I wrote this peice. So thank you for letting me know I reached my goal for this one. Laurie- I've been at the mercy of the descriptions of this writing so many times in my life. It is just now that I've been able to translate it into words, and I do believe it's near accuracy. Thanks for the compliments. |

Too many people living like this myself included, don't get so firmly entrenched in at all that you give up completely. great write, simple and to the point |
