My tiny newborn son

We thought nothing would happen,
We thought it would be fun,
We thought wrong and now you're a father,
Of our tiny newborn son,
We thought that we were careful,
We thought that in a while it would all be done,
But now you are a father,
Of our tiny newborn son,
I thought you truly loved me,
I thought you wouldn't run,
But now I'm all alone,
With my tiny newborn son.

Your post has a similarity to another post on the board....Just thought you should know because I just got done reading the other one and they sound oddly firmiliar. Nonetheless good job.

Whoever it was I can only imagine what they are going through. Having a friend with a child whos father ran off. I hope things get better...Good write

Hey girl! Great poem but it seems alot like mines! Especially that day u read mines at mah house! LOL.... It was good but im mad! lol... j/p.. .keep up tha goodwork!
