One little boy who has no name, Who has no face, and knows only shame, Pity not this nameless boy, As he sits atop the playground toy, Jungle gym and monkey bars, He’s going’ to the place above the stars, A lifetime gone in the blink of an eye, Sometimes this boy wishes he could fly, Away from the sinking feeling and loveless father, He slouches down to the place where smiles don’t bother, To show themselves they just hide away, The playgrounds the answer and there’s no reason to stay, In this land when his mom is spilled, Dead she is and the boy’s heart needs filled, “Why did you leave me mommy? What did I do wrong?” The faceless boy grows lamented as the stealers song, Gets played through his veins, Daddy’s game was murder and he played in the rains, His daddy played the game with her life, Daddy’s the one who caused this strife, Nameless can’t take it anymore its just gotta end, In this world his time… he will no longer spend, As he climbs the slide so high, Sighs is what he does, and closes his eyes, When he opens them again he’s in his mother’s arms, Surrounded by white light and safe from all harm. |

Very nice Sam. I think you should try to be careful of overused rhymes like "life/strife" in the future, but otherwise, I enjoyed reading this quite a bit. Told a very grim story. Great work, man. Parasite Learn to place poetry before people |
