Sitting alone, so alone on the porch at night, With my pale in hand, hopping to trap some light. Like the stillborn I pray for some sort of life, How weak I am, The Stars control The Truth Knife. I told them not to, I control my own fate, And I have trusted none but The Stars as of late. Blinked out of sparkling eyesores I crawl, On my bloody knees, waiting for The Stars to fall. I just wish this wasn't all part of my lie... Zeta Reticuli, Watch The Stars tattoo the sky. Zeta Reticuli, Take life by the hands, and pray not to die. Zeta Reticuli, High Voltage sparks, and I want to fly Zeta Reticuli. Do you see now what I'm up against? Like seeing the one you love behind an electric fence. Up in the sky, two Stars did collide, Was it an accident, or was it suicide? An incident in history, I feel ashamed, Because it was me #1 and #2 blamed. Blazing and searing me to within an inch of death, But, unlike the Stillborn I still have my breath. I just wish this wasn't all part of my lie... Zeta Reticuli, Watch The Stars tattoo the sky. Your back! Yay! Powerful, deep, meaningful, dark...everything I've come to expect from you and as good as always. I escpecailly like the use of imagry in this piece, very vivid. And two points for the stars!! I'm a celestail kinda girl m'self! ~Live and Laugh~ Always strive for excellence never perfection. |
