Pictures weave a story Of one so very blessed With boys and friends surrounding And A’s on all of her tests Portraits of a lifetime Portraying love to compete All questions hold their answers Breaking records, winning meets What isn’t told in pictures What isn’t down to see Are the answers never realized The longings to be free The nights alone and tear-filled The mornings trapped in bed The ingenious imaginings Too advanced for those not dead The depressive truth of living The escape so far away The stark black and white contrast The horrendous hew of gray Pictures tell a story Of a popular girl A story of lies Of too perfect a world. |

Nice write, I really like this one because I can really relate because people think i have a perfect life but if they really lived my life they'd learn that everything isn't always what it appears. well anyways, it was very good, and keep up the good work! ~*~*brezee*~*~ |

Something in this really touched me. I hope you realize what a gift you truly have. You have a knack for making a portrait of time with words. Keep up the good work! ~toasty "Nothing is so strong as gentleness; Nothing so gentle as real strength." -Francis de Sales. |

First off, Welcome to piptalk! I haven't been here for awhile(internet problems) so there are some new names for me. I really love this poem, I think alot of people can relate to it. It was very descriptive, and the last line ended it perfectly. Well done. WinterWren |
