You complain about how love has spited you, but really its just you out to get yourself. It makes me sick. Let me throw up and sit in my vomit a while, wallowing in my own waste. Wasting away in my stupidity. Self-pity. All I do is pity other people and try to help them. But it always blows up in my face, And then the smoke is left to rise, and circle around my mouth. Tempting me to choke yet again on my failure. * This is not really a poem. Its something I wrote about my friend. There's a lot more to it. And at the end, he was crying. I think I really hurt him by telling him that he hurt me, and I don't know what to do...* [This message has been edited by Lexy (08-01-2003 08:58 PM).] |

i really like this poem...i definitely do that too: just write down my thoughts and it comes out like a poem--sometimes i find that those are the best kind. [This message has been edited by rose (08-02-2003 11:31 AM).] |
