I wrote this for my best friend of 3 years one night after we spent a few hours remembering good times...what do you think?

I’ve had many friends
But none compare to you
I love you with all my heart
And for you, there is nothing I wouldn’t do
I know we’ve only been friends
For just about two years
But girl, you’re my best friend
I’m pretty sure that’s clear

I remember when we used to go cruising
Almost every Friday night
Man, that seems like so long ago
It’s crazy how time flies

Then when you first met Kalem
I wasn’t sure how that would go
I didn’t really like him at first
But I do now make sure he knows

At first I thought he was an ass
And that he never treated you right
But it was because I never saw the good things
I only saw the fights

Now I know he loves you
And I am positive you feel the same
It was all just drama
And stupid kid games

I am glad you’re still together
And I’d hate to see you apart
Because I know how much it would hurt you
And totally break your heart

Kalem, if you’re reading this
Always keep this in mind
If you EVER hurt my Missy
Boy, your ass is MINE!

So, Missy, I love you
Always know it’s true
You’re my bestest friend
I’m not complete without you
