A snake that slithers in the grass you've had it all your life Many years ago, the snake was a welcome pet However during a feed, it rose up and sank its teeth in your flesh A near death experience, and along I came wagging my tail You fed me sporadically, more worried about your own matters But I was always there, to curl up beside you in times of need The snake remained in the grass, waiting to strike again One morning I awoke, and there you were beside the snake It showed true then and there, you were a snake yourself All of its movements you imitated, all of its orders you followed So I trotted off into the forest, Once again a stray I'm not sure which is more tragic, you imitating it... or me caring... |

You write... well, in a way I've never seen before, and I've been around the blue pages for a while. I still don't know what to say to this lol... still wowed It is said the Creator has taken a handful of South Wind and given each newborn Arabian the power of flight without wings |
