Consistency was never its strong point,
yet it was not in vain.

The packing of flesh as it becomes stronger,
and the man who feeds off of its growth.

What drives the bar up is a mixture,
a compound created from love and hate.

While it does drive me to pain,
I thank it for its escape.

hum..leaves much to think about, short yet very powerful. I have an interpretation which I'm sure is differnt from yours. What does this mean to you?
