"Colours" I lost the colours. You see, life is all about the colours. Colours and shapes go together. No one would adore a Piccasso painting for the shapes, if the didn't have the colours. At least not Piccasso himself. Life is a painting, with colours we can't even begin to imagine. There's colours that we as humans, with the human eye can't see. Colours that we as people, aren't allowed to touch, or even feel. A name is a color, like colours can say a million thing about a painting, a name can say at least as much about a person. First impression, last impression. A relationship, a friendship, had, love, doubt, tears, the body. A sound is a colour. How else could music effect us, alter our emotions in a heartbeat? Colours! Heartbeat? Under our chest, is a little brush working overtime. There's always a new layer, a new wall to be painted in a different color. And our life depends on how many walls! Breathing, an invisible colour. Paved into the same category as wishing, hoping, wanting, needing, etc...A color you can't see because it's something you can't paint and say; that's how it's looks like. It's different from each brush and method used. Some may use a big brush, others may used a thin one. Then again a third party may like the wide one. It's like personality, personality is all about how you use your canvas, it's can be bright and out-going. Claoustufobic, Crazy, fading, or so dark that someone can hide. But, I lost the colours. You see, life is all about colours. |

"heartbeat? under our chest a little brush working over time." wow, great line. You've got a great theme and central idea flowin' here, but I think you could make it a little more affective if you went through and weeded out unneccesary lines that have little impact on your piece. The last line was amazing. Keep it up.. ~Lex [This message has been edited by Lexy (06-25-2003 10:34 PM).] |
