I scream and scream, ‘till I have no voice left
And still no one hears me
I remain quiet and drawn back
And get in trouble
I calmly state my feelings
And get excuses

It’s never your fault is it?
Always mine or someone else’s
You can’t do anything wrong can you?
But I can, I can’t do anything right

Listen and you might learn of fear and love
Or yell and learn that your daughter has run away
