'Tis the way summer cried of lavender tears, 'Tis the way summer cried of lavender tears, 'Neath where the darkened June sky is found, 'Neath where the darkened June sky is found. Lavender found summer cried 'neath the sky, Where June 'tis the way of darkened tears. Sleeping deeply within the twilight hours, Sleeping deeply within the twilight hours, With these dreams like August, too saccharine sweet, With these dreams like August, too saccharine sweet; Too deeply the twilight dreams like saccharine, With sweet August sleeping within these hours. Lilac perfume within the pure essence of July, Lilac perfume within the pure essence of July, Keep dripping your scents of fragranced poetry, Keep dripping your scents of fragranced poetry. Scents of poetry keep pure the lilac essence Of your fragranced dripping within July. Within pure twilight 'tis August's scents, Too lavender the way lilac is fragranced. Sweet perfume of June, 'neath saccharine sky, Deeply darkened the tears where cried July. Keep dripping the summer with these, your essence, Found sleeping within hours of poetry. WOW! You did it! YOU DID IT! For such a complex format...wow. For such a young age, you really are experimenting with different formats. I'm really enjoying this. I'll come back soon to re-read it. In the mean time, keep up the experimenting! -Leah  |
