You never seem to care Boys are just toys To you You play them As if they're fools Never quite realizing All the damage You cause You run around Teasing and tempting Making all the boys Fall in love with you Then you drop them Faster than a hot potato I see you The games you play But I can't watch So I turn the other way My blindspot Allows me to hide I fear you, for you Because nothing phases you I see the boys Offer you their hearts I see you smash them Not quite understanding How you manage to do it But you can survive Thriving on them As if you are A cruel seductress For you my friend Live to be The Queen of Hearts. |

"The Queen of Hearts" is a VERY appropriate title. I'm actually really caught up on that. The title alone is incredibly clever, and I think it's well deserving of the poem. The line I liked most was: "Then you drop them, Faster than a hot potato" I've never quite read an analogy quite like that, but it was fun! Sometimes a person can be the cruellest thing you'll ever come across. Just be sure to know what makes them that way, and steer clear of it. The world is good, and nothing bad ever happens! |

I know so many girls like that and like you I can't watch them while they are doing it to another undeserving guy, although I know from personal experience that guys can be the same way. Nice work ~*~Karen~*~ |

Alright, alright! We can reform, I must also do a little explaining perhaps. It's easier not to care, so we pick guys that we maybe don't really see anything working out with ON PURPOSE. And the reality is, we love attention, and if the guy fails to give it, or seems less focused on wanting us, we're going to try harder. The secret to these women is to do just that- get under their skins and pull a fast one. If she starts to care, and if you start to distance yourself it'll be utterly the most confusing thing for her, point blank. If she has started to care for you just enough-she might even chase YOU. Sorry, when you love someone Iknow it's hard to do, but you have to pull away, let her want you. Us maneater types can reform, as soon as we figure out why we do it. Not out of hate or spite. Just so that we don't get hurt, it's a protection. And have no fear that the girl like that, she always realizes the hard way. Great poem. "Now I'm convinced that he's heaven sent, and must be out of his mind- mama he's crazy, crazy over me." |
