Roaring and ripping through my veins, The deadly storm goes on. The comes the rain pouring down from the sky, And it’s always laden with ice. Water flowing freely over its boundaries, Raging so angrily onto the innocent shores. What is wrong, With the sky? Why is she furious? Why does she cry? With a cry of pain, the earth slowly shatters, And the most dormant thing alive is awoken. A human heart. Its soul screams with joy of Being released once again, but what is the point Of being free, if you can’t see how beautiful Your surroundings really are? What is wrong, With the eyes, That once sought beauty, Now only lies? This spirit is confused and tormented daily By the things it never knew before. Like why does it see only the misfortune? It sees disaster and hardship but can feel no pity For these silly things running around with problems It wonders…why can’t stone feel these emotions?.... If You Wanna See A Rainbow, You've Gotta Live Through The Rain. And If You Wanna See Through Love, You've Gotta Live Through The Pain. |
