Just a light little poem about teen romance. I want our eyes to slowly meet, I want a soft embarassed smile, I want to learn your name while my palms sweat, I want you to stutter and fumble over words, I want you to slowly get your bearings, I want your hand to gently brush mine, I want you to make me laugh in the rain, I want to tremble either from your touch or the cold, I want you to move your face closer to mine, I want a little hesitation before our lips meet, I want to take control of the situation, I want to kiss you until we have to stop for air, I want to be afraid of saying "I love you" even though I feel it, I want to fight for all the wrong and right reasons, I want you to break my heart. |
