You were my first real best friend, but we lost touch because of some little fight. Everything came out in the open that one dark night. You found out my darkest secrets and I thought you would help, after all you were my so-called “best friend.” But instead of helping, you turned me away and left me all alone. You didn’t care what came next because you hated me so. You were spreading around gossip and it hurts me to know, because I thought we were friends, but you sank down too low. Then, you heard of a misunderstanding and called me concerned. Wanting to know, wanting to be heard. I told you what really happened, and we talked things through. Now we’re friends again, and I hope that it’s true. I hope you finally accept me, because I will change for nobody, I just hope that you finally see, accept me for who I am and what’s inside of me. |

hey, I'm glad to see that you can stand up for yourself. There should be more people in the world that are willing to put it all on the line in order to be true to yourself. Nice poem, and I wish you all the luck that things turn out the way you want them to. ::Jen:: Every oak tree started out as a couple of nuts who stood their |

That poem was incredible! It must really bite having your best friend leave. Keep your head up, and please keep writing poems I really like your work. ~Matt~ |
