So hey I've just met you
don't really know you
but I think I like you
don't know you
think I'm a fallin for you
now what am I supposed to do
fallin for someone
I've never met
you ain't real
part of this fake world
of make belive on the internet
I know you're probably lying to me
about at least something
my nutso friend rocks away
listening to hell scream loud
and I sit here swingin' my legs
listening to the click of keys
going nuts in my own hell
don't know what kind of lies you tell
wishing you weren't tellin' any
but not knowin'
can't trust you with my name
know somethin just ain't right with this
arrangement
i want to tell you more but I'm not supposed to
why does it work this way
It seems like I could trust you
But I really don't know
and I'm going crazy in this hell

I don't know if today is a good day, or if yesterday was, or if tomorrow will be, but I'd like to think so.

Figuring things out where the internet is concerned is hard work.....n sometimes it's right n sometimes it isn't. Usually, if you are cautious enough and follow your gut instinct (what you see/feel rather than what you want to see/feel) you will find the right answers. I wish you the best of luck and I completely emphasise because I have grown close to an online friend, not without a lot of soul searching. So I understand somewhat what you are going through. pigletdoglet@hotmail.com is my msn thing if you want to talk about it at all. Otherwise, great poem, nice expressed.....I like this bit especially:
"and I sit here swingin' my legs
listening to the click of keys
going nuts in my own hell
don't know what kind of lies you tell
wishing you weren't tellin' any
but not knowin'"
It's exactly that. Thanks for sharing this one with us and again I hope things work out for you and that you don't get hurt in the process.
