Breath has been drained from wind swept skies. Continual hurt has caused your soul to die. You've locked yourself within this desert, hardly living, unspeakable pain. You build these walls around you, constructing the ultimate isolation to distract yourself from the blatant truths. You walk upon beige pebbles of sand, leaving behind a cloud of dust as proof your moving. YOu continue to torture yourself, hardly breathing. I beckon to you, drink the moisture off my lips. Take my heart, my desire should compansate as shade. Come, cool yourself in my presence. I'd trade my myself to experience you, to see your void filled. Quit living in this desolation. Please except my compassion, please except my proposition. Come and cool yourself within me. |

Oooh... makes me think of ice water on a hot day... of playing with the for-that-moment perfect guy in the twilight... of the passion of new relationships. Mmm. Lovely... |

I love how this contradicts what is thought of as usual..usually you would think a person would be cold without someone and being with another person would warm them up sense passion is often assosiated with heat yet this is completely the opposite and I love it in every way. Enjoyable read ~Live and Laugh~ Always strive for excellence never perfection. |

Wow...this poem is one of the best I've read in a while. I really enjoyed this. It flowed beautifully. Nice job. As I smile at everyone else, I'm dying inside... ~Me |
