The years that past were those of joy
And an innocence so pure
We lived with youthful magnificence
We cherished who we were

An open mind and unbroken heart
Naive to bitter emotions
Living our life day to day
Engulfed in dream like notions

Barricaded by a wall of time
The future not in mind
Reach out to grasp reality
Simple pleasures left behind

Your heart begins to crumble
True happiness whispers in the past
Love blossoms in your mind
Frailty hinders it to last

The time of wisdom is upon you
The one thing left is memories
You drift once more to happiness
Your realities slowly freeze

Oooh, I like it. The rhythm was a teensy bit off in a couple of places, but you had the rhyme going perfectly. Nice!

Yeah it was a little off, oddly enough I noticed it. But it was good. What does the title mean?

I don't know if today is a good day, or if yesterday was, or if tomorrow will be, but I'd like to think so.

Well, the title was suppose to be "travelling through the years" but I think the translater screwed up, I am pretty sure it says,"displacement through years" heh, either way, now you know what it was suppose to be!! Thanks for the comments they are always much appreciated!!
