The bars of societies judgement The piercing of their eyes Never meeting their approval No matter how hard someone tries The constant aching pain The feeling of disbelief You wish to be who you’re not To find bitter-sweet relief You can run for miles But never hide from the pain The underlying turmoil Will never be slain Live for who you are Don’t conform to the haunting ways Bring faith to your existence Love your self always **It's better to be hated for who you are, than loved for who you are not** |

I completely agree with what this says. I wish people could be accepted for who they are instead of who other people want them to be. That's why I started writing, to have somewhere that I could just be myself. Anyway enough of my ramblings. Thanks for the read. Jenni To hate you must first have loved. |
