The bars of societies judgement
The piercing of their eyes
Never meeting their approval
No matter how hard someone tries

The constant aching pain
The feeling of disbelief
You wish to be who you’re not
To find bitter-sweet relief

You can run for miles
But never hide from the pain
The underlying turmoil
Will never be slain

Live for who you are
Don’t conform to the haunting ways
Bring faith to your existence
Love your self always

**It's better to be hated for who you are, than loved for who you are not**

I completely agree with what this says. I wish people could be accepted for who they are instead of who other people want them to be. That's why I started writing, to have somewhere that I could just be myself. Anyway enough of my ramblings. Thanks for the read.

This is a very inspiring poem. Nice work!

As I smile at everyone else, I'm dying inside... ~Me
