These are just a couple poems about nature things..U can just read one and comment on it if you wish..Doesn`t matter as long as I get some feedback. LOL The Leaf The sun was shining the day I was born Freash rain soaked me through and through Surrounded by big oak branches I grew to be the brightest green Little children climbed my tree But then one day The sun and children went away And I could feel myself getting old Shriveled, brown, and lonely I clung onto the last breath of life Lonely, last one of the bunch A light breeze swept across my body Lifted me and I floated to the ground One last breeze and I go danging D O W N The street WIND Sweeping, Riding Whistling, Groaning Calming,Disappear WIND Thanks..Allison [This message has been edited by devinechild22 (05-01-2003 06:16 PM).] |

Nice... I liked the first one. I've never been a fan of very short poems. Good job! *Serena* "The best trick in basketball is putting the ball in the hoop, but if you bring the hoop down with you, I'll give you a cookie." |

There was a romantic story I read once about two leaves who realized they loved each other when it was too late. I loved this! ^~Whoever does not love his work cannot hope that it will please others.~^ |
