cast off the shadows of the nightly world spring to life in the majesty of this kingdom for up in the window a madian so fair laughing the night away she holds in her hand a fresh yellow rose no doubt from the garden below but in the background there is such a blue rose hanging there simply blue for the pity pray for the lady in the old stone window surrounded by people adorning her every command every morn' as she awakens to the sun risen up past the moon the silverly shadows tossed away lifes taken flight in the cresent moon night for nothing not even soul lays there people come rushing for the madian is gone yet still they worship her cornflower hair laying beside the fair madian are two singing in the night for yellow and blue do not cry dear servents for she shall be back everytime you hear her song and see her flowing hair in the window think to youself and only to you she is singing in the night for yellow and blue ** I hope you get my meaning by this...this is the first poem of this kind I have tried to write so......** ~* Love humiliates you, hatered cradles you-White Olender *~ [This message has been edited by Riley (10-08-2002 08:08 AM).] |

Very well done. I love the departure from your normal style into this kind. You did this extremely well, and the meaning is not lost on me. I'll talk to you about it on MSN so that I don't influence anybody else's interperetations of it. Fantastic writing once more. I'm beyond impressed, Riley... this has got to be one of your best. I hope that you do this sort of thing again. I'm putting this into my library. Parasite Learn to place poetry before people |
