Holding on to moments past
longing for the moments new
that i just want to share with you

I twist and turn trying to decide what to do
when you say you want me then suddenly leave
yes, thank you that was my heart you just heaved

against the wall, splat
there is falls, hopes and dreams lost in the night
i try to reason with you but i start a fight

I don't want to end up like the other girls
i just want you, all of you
isn't that what you said you wanted too?

I try to have morals and a path
I am trying to live a "good" life here
but then you turn and offer me a beer

what am i to you? did you even mean what you said?
you know i like you, you said you liked me
i know the stuff i am pulling isn't your cup o' tea
