You turn to the world for comfort
To ease your hardened heart
To end the pain and burden
You’ve felt from the start
You feel this is your fault
The tales of heart ache and pain
You live a life of wonder
Never destined to change
What the future holds for you
Is the grief of those around
You will feel the hurt and sorrow
Your calling will be found
To help those that are vanquished
To a life of misery
You must endure your ally’s pain
Suffer through the violent fury
What cruel hand
Has dealt this life to you
To live in constant burden
And regret all that you knew
The lives of those around you
Are falling apart bit by bit
The painful look in their eyes
To yourself you must admit
This tears you up inside
To see the way they feel
You want to help their soul
Life will never be ideal
Through words of wisdom
You begin to break the seal
That holds these troubled people
In a world so dark but real
And in the end
Who’s there for you to listen and prevail
You are the one they turn to
And in your own mind you have failed
You cannot turn to you
The advice will not be taken
You need to find your fallen angel
Then your life will be awakened
You turn to the world for comfort
To ease your hardened heart
To end the pain and burden
You’ve felt from the start

I liked it to Jenn, I just haven't been on for awhile and have to get caught up with my reading. It was a very nice poem.
