You slither beneath the layers of black and blue cold. When our faces are still lite by the fire. And we're tucked away, safe and warm. Your feet tap softly along the floor. You leave for another day, spent away, And I'm alone again. You leave again, to ride along in union with the rising sun. Your eyes stay turned away to all we have become. Covered scarcely by nights shaddow, I attempt to hide the stains colored across my face. The obvious pain, I've tryed so hard to change. You come to me between the shadows and the light. Through the constant murmur, its easy to hide the truth, to live a lie. But I can't stand the feeling of you leaving, the warmth leaves my body, and I shiver beneath this blanket of black and blue cold. |

My vote for this one, I like alot of your work and this one is no exception. My favorite line, "Your eyes stay turned away to all we have become." Wow. WinterWren |

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Lexy, I don't like that feeling too and I send angel hugs your way for warmth to again fill your heart soon! (sigh) This is touching, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |
