Wet concrete imprisons me, but I pretend not to care As it slowly dries around me, and I don't even dare To scream for help and rescue, from my pressured line of life Or have the guts to face myself or end it with my knife When surrounded by the aliens, I toughen up my skin But unknown to my captors, I'm a loser deep within As tension builds inside me; no way to let it out I slowly start to wonder, what my life's about The pressure inside increases, I can't maintain for long Going about my business, pretending that I am strong |

I like it...I like it a lot. And from me and the others that don't get a chance... WELCOME!!! Glad to have you to our happy family I hope you learn to love it here like so many others. I look forward to reading your work. Laura "All that I desire to point out is the general principle that Life imitates Art far more than Art imitates Life." |
